Yes, Cookie Do Confections allows you to eat your dough in a huge variety of ways: straight out the fridge, warmed up in the microwave, fully or half baked in to cookies, and even made into a cookie dough ice cream sandwich. The dough is made fully safe to eat with premium ingredients, zero preservatives, and a bunch of love. The dough is made from pasteurized egg and heat treated flour so you get the taste you love without the upset stomach. Recently, Cookie Do has taken the internet by storm on all different types of social media websites with their crazy colorful containers and recognizable logo. The following has been exponentially growing and so has there wide variety of unique flavors.
When Anne and I visited the store front in NYC on 2nd Avenue between 39th and 40th street, we were finally able to satisfy our growing cravings. But even before our trip, we were lucky enough to have an interview with the founder of Cookie Do, Kristen Tomlan! Kristen was instantly welcoming and helpful to our EEAATSS team! We first asked Kristen how she was able to scale her hobby into a nationally famous and recognized brand. Kristen explained that her main goal was to let her product shine with the help of social media and word of mouth.
“Cookie Do has always, focused on creating quality, delicious products that spoke for themselves.”
With such amazing and unique products, it was easy for the company to become a social media sensation! As any business that is trying to scale themselves has, we wondered what certain difficulties there were for Cookie Do as it grew. The Cookie Doer, Kristen told us they've definitely had their fair share of growing pains from keeping up with demand to hiring the right people, but our visit proved that Cookie Do has moved past these difficulties, leading them to achieve sugar high success. In the bakery, the workers were extremely genuine, kind, and hard working. Not to mention that the shop seemed to be handling the mass amounts of orders, ranging from Uber Eats to shipments and walk ins, with ease.
“I don’t have much free time but when I get a few hours away, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, cooking, traveling, running and spending time with friends and family.”
It is very easy to see the passion Kristen has for the company and her life in general! Under such positive and outstanding leadership, we hope Cookie Do grows even bigger, flourishing with new customers and flavors! Kristen let us know that her favorite dough by far is "Heavenly," which includes a little bit of everything: sea salt, nutella, chocolate, and caramel, or as Kristen puts it, "All the good things in life!" Fan favorites also include signature chocolate chip, cake batter, and confetti. Personally, we loved chocolate dream and the seasonal coffee toffee! So check Cookie Do's website out and try 'em all for yourself!
